HCC DECA qualifies to compete at DECA's International Competition in Anaheim, CA in April.

HCC DECA attended the 74th Annual Career Development Conference in North Charleston, March 2nd to the 5th.  6 students representing Walhalla High School competed
in marketing, hospitality and finance related career events, attended leadership sessions and networked with nearly 700 other marketing students from around South Carolina.  Serving at the 2016-2017 South Carolina VP of Marketing, senior Emily Dover helped to make this year's state conference a huge success.
HCC DECA will be among 18,000 other marketing students from around the world (US, Canada and 8 other countries are represented at ICDC) when they travel to Anaheim in April to attend the International Career Development Conference (ICDC). Competing in Business Finance Series will be Joshua Leonard who won 1st place at state and 3 other senior members, Emily Dover, Jansen Lail & Skylar Corbitt. will aspire to get on the fast track to college and career success. by having the opportunity to learn how to leverage their DECA experience to their advantage in their near future in college, interviews and internships.
