Mrs. Amy Welch
Mrs. Welch is originally from Dublin, Georgia where she graduated from West Laurens High School in 1997. After high school, she obtained her BSEd in Marketing Education in 2007 from the University of Georgia. She is currently working on her Master's degree in Secondary Educational Leadership at Furman University and will graduate May, 2019.

Prior to teaching Mrs. Welch spent 10 years working in print media & advertising. She has been teaching for 10 years; 8 years in Oconee County at HCC and the first 2 years teaching Business Education at Colleton County High School in Walterboro, SC. 

The 2018-2019 school year will be her 8th year at Hamilton Career Center where she teaches the Marketing Communications program and serves as the DECA adviser.

Mrs. Welch and her family live in Walhalla, SC. Her husband Hal works for the Seneca Journal and they have 3 children, Maddie, Chloe & Logan. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, boating on the lake, and vacationing at the beach.
