Mr. Stephen Jenkins
Teacher

Mr. Jenkins is a native of Oconee County. He graduated in 1988 from West Oak High School. He continued his education at Clemson University obtaining his BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. After college Mr. Jenkins was hired on at the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office in 1993. With over 20 Years in law enforcement, his career led him working as a Patrol Officer, Narcotics Investigator, SWAT Commander, Captain of Special Operations, and a Helicopter Pilot. Those years as a Sheriff’s Deputy enabled him to work alongside different local, state, and federal agencies and receive some of the best training available nationwide. After his law enforcement career, Mr. Jenkins started working for himself starting up two success businesses and obtaining his real estate license.

Mr. Jenkins and his family live in Seneca, SC. His wife Sheri is a teacher as well and works at West-Oak Middle School. They have 4 children, Kaylee, Amy, Natalee, and Tyler. All are active in sports and band in the Oconee County School District and Rec Department. In his free time his likes to spend time with his family planning the next adventure.
