Mrs. Erin Drennon, R.N.
Teacher
Mrs. Drennon is a native of Oconee County and graduated from Seneca High in 1998. After high school, she attended Wofford College where she graduated in 2002 with a B.S. In Biology/ Pre-med. She then decided to return home to attend Clemson University where she graduated in Nursing in 2005. Prior to teaching, she worked as a nurse in Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics, and Cardiology.

She has been teaching since 2008 and in the SDOC since 2009. She has taught Health Science, CNA, and all four biomedical PLTW courses while at HCC. She is also employed as an adjunct Virtual School instructor with the SC Dept. of Ed where she teaches Medical Terminology, Health Science, and Intro to EMS. She is a master teacher with PLTW where she serves as a core training instructor to other teachers at different universities across the nation.

Mrs. Drennon is the HOSA advisor at HCC where she has led multiple students to winning state and national competition titles. HOSA is also very active in the community and supports many philanthropic causes. Mrs Drennon and her husband live in Seneca with their two children, age 8 and 5.
